Glint — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Glint, a Bluetooth finder app for iPhone that helps you locate lost earbuds and headphones. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Glint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Glint on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

3. What Glint can and cannot do

Glint helps you find Bluetooth earbuds and headphones — including JBL, Sony, Samsung Galaxy Buds, Bose, Anker/Soundcore, Jabra, Jaybird, older Beats, and other Bluetooth devices — by sensing the strength of their Bluetooth signal and guiding you closer with a warmer/colder reading.

Glint gives you a warmer/colder direction, not a precise distance or a map pin. It reads Bluetooth signal strength, which is inherently approximate — it deliberately never shows a fake distance in meters or claims to know the exact spot. Glint can only sense a device that is powered on and broadcasting Bluetooth within range. If your earbuds are dead, out of case, or out of range, Glint cannot detect them. Please make sure your device supports Bluetooth before purchasing.

Detection depends on your device's Bluetooth broadcasting, its battery, the environment, and how each manufacturer implements Bluetooth. We do not guarantee that Glint will detect or locate any particular device.

4. Subscriptions and purchases (Glint Plus)

Glint offers optional Glint Plus purchases that unlock premium features (unlimited saved devices, the full finder on every device, and last-seen location):

Weekly — auto-renewing subscription — $1.99 / week, with a 3-day free trial
Annual — auto-renewing subscription — $14.99 / year
Lifetime — $24.99 one-time purchase (non-consumable)

The following standard terms apply to the auto-renewing subscriptions (Weekly and Annual):

Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase.
The renewal amount is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer. Please request refunds through Apple.

The Lifetime option is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and does not auto-renew. Prices may vary by region and are always shown before you confirm.

5. Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use and any purchases are also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the Licensed Application EULA), available at:

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Glint is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that it will detect or locate any particular device. Glint is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by JBL, Sony, Samsung, Bose, Anker, Jabra, Apple, or any other manufacturer; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of Glint, including any inability to find a lost device. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Glint after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
